Was working on this most of the day and I think I figured out what the
actual problem is.
If you create the EAS (Exchange Active Sync) account directly on the Treo
then the calendar doesn't sync correctly.
If you install Palm's software on a desktop computer and configure the EAS
account in the software and hotsync that to the Treo then the calendar works
correctly.
So the problem seems to me that there is something wrong with the Palm OS on
the Treo that doesn't make the EAS account correct WHEN created on the Treo
only. When creating the EAS account in the software on the PC, it does
creates the account on the Treo correctly when you do a hotsync.
On the PPC, you can create the EAS account on the device itself without ever
installing anything on the client workstation and the calendar works
correctly. And because of that, that is why I was creating the account
directly on the Treo instead of through a software GUI.
Still a bug in my opinion but on the Palm's side
