I have SBS backp set to run every night at 11:00 PM. Every night since it
has been running, I get the following error in my log:

Error: Could not access portions of directory D:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\staging
areas\-my domain-.
You may not have permission to open the file, or the directory may be
missing or damaged.
Please contact the owner or administrator.

Error: Could not access portions of directory D:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\sysvol\-my
domain-.
You may not have permission to open the file, or the directory may be
missing or damaged.
Please contact the owner or administrator.

(-my domain- is obviously substituted for the real domain name)

If I try to access the two directories using Explorer, I get an error saying
that the directory is not accessible, because the device is not ready.

I've tried enabling shadow copies on the directory, but this has not made a
difference.

The two directories have a size of 0 bytes. Should I just exclude them from
the backup?

Thanks in advance.

Jon
