A customer called today and said that some of their files mysteriously
reverted back to a previous point in time. I checked the backup log and no
one has done a restore. I have shadow copy enabled on the volume and I wonder
if somebody was fooling around and accidentally restored a shadow copy of the
entire directory tree. They said the system was running extremely slow around
noon and that's when they noticed the files had changed. Is there a way to
see who has restored what? Is there a shadow copy log file somewhere?
Thanks,
Kent
