Hi Robbie,

Thank you for posting here.

This be behavior is by design and caused by the VPN connection that has
been created on the client computers. It will ask the computer to use the
VPN connection's gateway to replace the original gateway.

To solve the problem, please check the following info:

Section 1:
======
Once you install the Connection Manager package (sbspackage.exe) created by
the SBS Remote Access Wizard, you do not have the option to modify the
predefined settings within Network Connections at the client.

This is because the settings are located Documents and
Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Cm\remote\remote.cms (Predefined)

If you do not want Connect to Small Business Server's connectoid to use
default gateway on remote network, open the remote.cms file and change
Gateway_On_Remote from 1 to 0.

For example (This apply to the VPN connection):
[TCP/IP&Connect to Small Business Server Tunnel]
Gateway_On_Remote=1
-to-
[TCP/IP&Connect to Small Business Server Tunnel]
Gateway_On_Remote=0

For example (This apply to the dial-up connection):
[TCP/IP&Connect to Small Business Server]
Gateway_On_Remote=1
-to-
[TCP/IP&Connect to Small Business Server]
Gateway_On_Remote=0

Section 2.
======
If you manually created the VPN connection by using "Create a new
connection" wizard on the client computer, please follow these steps to
solve the issue.

1. Open Network Connections.
2. Right-click the VPN connection and click Properties.
3. Click the Networking tab and double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
4. Click Advanced and uncheck the "Use default gateway on remote network".
5. OKs to confirm the changes.

I hope the above info helps.

If you have any update, please feel free to let me know.
