Hi Marina
to cut a long story short...i've no idea.
we have an intelligent gateway router supplied by our isp which has a
built-in DHCP server that provides ip addresses to any device on the local
network. the ip, subnet mask, gateway & dns addresses on the clients match
the the one's given in the router user manual.
looking at the server side ipconfig /all i see that the dns server address
is 172.16.1.54 whereas on the clients ipconfig /all this address is
172.16.0.1.
could there be a conflict in which device is handling DHCP?
i thought i had disabled dhcp on the sbs.
