Hi,
Thanks for your post.
As your description, I understand you encountered problem when you connect
the internet via pocket pc 2003. If I am off base, please let me know.
Based on my research, there might be caused by the proxy setting on your
pocket pc.
1. IF your SBS2003 uses a proxy to connect to the Internet, please
configure the Pocket PC to use a proxy setting according to your
environments.
2. IF your SBS2003 does NOT use a proxy to connect to the Internet:
Pocket PC will by default use the Work connection, which won't connect to
the Internet unless a proxy is configured
For Pocket PC 2003, please follow the steps to configure:
1. Press Start, select Settings, select Data Connections
2. On the Menu, Edit Connections
3. Add a URL Exception of *.*/* . This will route all FQDNs to the
work network
MORE INFORMATION
1. If the workstation uses RAS (dial-up or VPN to connect to the
Internet you should establish the RAS connection before launching the
emulator
2. If the emulator is configured for "Virtual Switch" you need to
have a DHCP server available
I hope the above information helps, in the meantime if you have any other
questions please let me know. It's my pleasure to be of further assistance.
Best regards,
