First appologies if this is a bit OT
The problem is actually a MS server2003 in an SBS2003 domain
The troublesome server is a file / print and backup domain server
The last 2 mornings i have arrived at work and the server is
unresponsive with a blue screen with nothing on it (not a bsod the
lightblue one that should have a login box on it)
Ctrl+Alt&Del does nothing so i have to switch off to restart which is
not something i enjoy doing although both times it has restarted
cleanly (pauses for a while on "Rebuilding Active Directory indecies")
The only error in the system log is "The previous system shutdown at
12:57:24 AM on 3/9/2005 was unexpected."
so it had shut down 8 hours earlier and had not restarted properly
The UPS should not be a problem as both servers share the same UPS
Anyone ane ideas?
Thanks
Malcolm
