Thanks for your input,

Im trying to piece together a cost effective solution here for my employer.
Im still in the planning stage so your information is extremely helpful.
With small business, its difficult to work-around issues like this when a
budget is in place.

I doubt i will go with SBS 2003 at this point, considering the new
information you revealed with regards to XP home not being able joing the SBS
domain. That is another 'wrench in the gears' so to speak. And 2 more
operating systems. lol

In the very near future, remote access to the calendar from a project site
will be required. If that is the case then another server running terminal
services would be necessary. Win 2003 Advanced server perhaps, but i would
still need exchange to share outlook calendars.

The 3rd party software mentioned in a previous post will suffice until
enough users warrant a server based OS.

However, I just rebuilt a file server on AMD 64 technology and I need to
upgrade the operating system. It is running on XP Pro, but it is also acting
as a workstation.

Any suggestions? Wait for Longhorn?
