Is it safe to remove 1.1 from SBS 2003.

I have tested your scenario in a test machine. I tried to install the .net
framework 1.0 to the SBS 2003 server and did not meet any error. So, I
would Iike to recommend that you remove the .net framework 1.0 and
reinstall it. To remove it, please refer to the following KB:

PRB: Installation of .NET Framework Fails and Requires Manual Removal

If the issue still persists, please remove both 1.0 and 1.1 and reinstall
1.0 and 1.1 in turn and see if the issue was resolved.
