Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure I follow you. I have the webserver in the dmz beside the
external interface of SBS.

The database for this example is on SBS. What do I need to do to allow the
webserver to access the db on SBS from the external interface.

I currently have the firewall turned on SBS standard.
