Thanks Les, I'm trying to figure out how to do this. You've been a huge help.
I get the same result when I run RAS Wiz from todo. "ERROR 800703eb"
I do have a couple messages in event logs:
system warning RemoteAccess: Unable to contact a DHCP Server.
? I thought DHCP was up and running.
Application Error Windows Sharepoint Services 2.0:
#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on
PROGRESS-SBS\SharePoint.
? I don't know what SP has to do with it. I haven't got around to
fixing that yet.
The links you sent did not pan out. They seemed to have a different error
code.
btw I have SQL Server on this machine. It is not in use yet, but it runs.
I saw a reference to logging SQL in RRAS but I couldn't find a solution by
configuring it.
I would say my most direct way of demonstrating my error is to go to RRAS
Ports in Advanced Mgmt and open Properties. If I configure I cannot Apply
without seeing "The port information cannot be saved. Cannot complete this
function. (800703eb) ".
Thanks,
Gordon
