If it's just a matter of updating/replacing certain files, have you thought
about logon scripts. You can map to a file server with the NET USE command
and copy the updated files with the COPY command. This would be run when the
users log on and would require them to have permissions to the file share.
You wouldn't need access to their drives (though as administrator, you
already hvae that access.)
