Jerry
Thank you for your response.
I have set up the servers as stated (firstly by trying to redirect the
e-mails to our external IP address to the second network without utilising
the bandwidth of the VPN).
I have setup the new server to use the same e-mail extension as our existing
domain server (ie xxxxx@company.co.uk) instead of a new domain name
(xxxxx@company-subcompany.co.uk) and have created new accounts on the new
server.
Can I assume that the existing exchange server should try and resolve the
unknown names by redirecting the package to the new server? When I try and
send an e-mail to the new account I get an error. Am I doing something
wrong? do I need to relay user accounts on the old server to forward to the
new server somehow?
Sorry for the stupid questions
Pete
