It's not uncommon for messages to get corrupted in the way you describe -
I've never decided whether it's "old age" or something to do with the
upgrade process, but it seems like it's often messages that have been around
awhile. Anyway, you can try the Inbox Repair Tool that you'll probably find
at C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033\scanpst.exe on your
desktop PC. Dbl-click scanpst.exe and browse to the pst file you're having
the problem with. You might want to back up the pst first - I've never had
a problem with the Inbox Repair Tool, but I don't run it all the time
either.

If the tool doesn't work, you can try moving or copying the messages to
different folders, or forwarding them to yourself. Maybe something like
that will work. It's also possible that some of the messages won't be
recoverable.

I hope you're using the server mailboxes rather than PST's now that you're
on Exchange. One last option might be to copy the messages into a folder in
the server mailbox and see if Exchange can fix them when it runs its
overnight database maintenance.
