SBS backup - hardware compression

It appears as though the default setting of SBS's built-in backup is WITHOUT
hardware compression and you are not prompted to use hardware compression.
Well, I am exceeding native size of the tape drive and NTBACKUP can fit it
all just fine but I would like the GUI features of SBS backup. Is there
something I'm missing?
