Hi Marina and Merv,

Thanks for your help.

For some reason DHCP | server | Properites | Advanced | Credentials tells me
that I have a Bad User ID or Password. I am using the same password as I do
for the Administrator login!! I have tried both domain, domain.COM and
domain.LOCAL. (The domain text box forces upper case.)

I have cured the lack of connectivity for most of the computers, there was a
bad port on my hub. But still my laptop gets a private IP if I try to use
the DHCP server. If I plug-in a 192.168.16.x number the laptop works well.
Is this 1056 error part of that problem, or is there someplace else to look.

Thanks,
--max
