Hi Pat,
Thank you for posting back!
It seems that the GPMC has not been installed properly. I'd like to provide
you with the following suggestions.
Suggestion 1.
Please try installing the original GPMC for SBS from x:\SBS\GPMC folder
(SBS installation CD 3).
Suggestion 2.
Please try reinstalling SBS Tools (This will not reinstall the entire
system.)
1. Open Add or Remove Programs.
2. Click Windows Small Business Server 2003 and click Change/Remove.
3. Click next until the Component Selection page.
4. Click the drop-down menu against System Tools and change the status to
"Maintenance".
5. Click the drop-down menu against Administration and change the status to
"Reinstall".
6. Reinstall the Administration tools.
If the above suggestion cannot work, please check whether you're able to
use the classic method to modify Group Policy.
1. Open ADU&C.
2. Right-click a container (such as Domain Controllers) and click
Properties.
3. Click Group Policy tab and check whether you're able to modify the GP
here.
