Hello Henry,

I accomplished your suggestion and didn't find any virus. I'm running Trend
Micro SMB antivirus on the network. It has been working very well in the past.

I'm afraid the only option I have left is to delete his profile and recreate
his user profile to get it working correctly again.

I did find that he had local admin rights on the PC. I have deleted that
account on the PC. I try to keep the network as locked down as possible by
creating accounts with User profiles only and I am the only admin. I work at
a Ford dealership and my sales staff try to install everything they find. Of
course, there is denial that anything ever happened.

I will try your latest suggestion. I am hesitant to lose his Outlook
profile. Being a salesman his Outlook contacts and email history are most
important to him. To ensure that I understand you correctly:
>From the server I can delete the current user account and then create a new
one with the same name? Or do you suggest that I create a new name and change
the email address of the new user profile to the old email address? Would
this automatically import the users old Exchange profile so nothing is lost?

I truly hate to pester you to death with this issue. I am still a novice and
really do appreciate you taking your personal time to assist. I may need a
little more coaching along the way.

Thanks again,
Rory
