Hi Steve,

I doubt a restart is needed for the original issue. But now that updates
have been installed, you have no choice.

FYI, making several configuration changes at once - and especially those
that require restarting the computer - is a high risk approach. Making
changes that require server restarts and not restarting very shortly
afterwards, adds further risk.

Tackle your issues one at a time ;-).
