Following several favourable comments regarding Trend Micro's CSM in this
newsgroup, we have bought a copy and loaded it onto our SBS 2003 box.
Anti-virus software is deployed on the server and the clients, and the virus
patterns are updating OK.
So, we're now ready to load Scanmail. When I select "Scanmail for Exchange"
from the web console there is no Scanmail server set up and I choose
"Install". The next page asks for Exchange servername, username and
password. Clicking OK brings up a "System Check Result" page and clicking
Next opens a download box "Downloading and unpacking Scanmail Installation
packages". A "Connect to" box pops up requesting a username and password. On
entering this info, the download box (and the web console) just hang.
I feel that the problem is something to do with permisssions, possibly
controlled by ISA server? Can anybody offer any suggestions please? [Trend
Micro product support seems to be very limited]
Regards,
Jim
