To explain.
We have the password policy detailed in my previous post, where passwords
never expire. However, out of the blue, 2 weeks ago, all users were prompted
to change their password. It was this issue I couldn't understand & am
trying to prevent from happening again. That said, this has only happened
once so far.
If I change a password, log off & log on again, I do NOT get prompted to
change it again.
A new user account with 'change password at next logon' enabled DOES get a
prompt to change the password.
It's the changing of passwords that IS occurring (well has occurred once so
far) that I am trying to stop.
I wonder if a patch applied to the server would have done this?
Regards
Fec
