Greetings,

Any and all help/ideas would be gratefully entertained.

Situation: installation of MSCRM corrupted the companyweb site. Therefore
the companyweb folder was deleted. ( a manager {non-IT} deleted it)
I have read and implemented support doc 829114 approximately 5 times to no
avail.

here is the error log file:

Karl from OZ has suggested that I try to, and I quote:
"I would go to the SBS Installation option under control panel and then
delete the Management section completely, reboot, then reinstall it
completely. This should, by rights, recreate a default Sharepoint
Companyweb. I am not sure but it might recreate IIS and your default
website. If not, using the recovery mode of a setup off CD will do it for
you (don't forget to install the patches etc again). Then follow the
procedure on the MS Kb for restoring your Sharepoint database and
de-registering and re-registering Companyweb using the Sharepoint
Administrator web pages.

We had to do this after a recent raid failure. (Don't get me started on THAT
particular problem). It was a fiddly process but it recovered Companyweb
perfectly.

I am not sure how the CRM website will cope with this process but perhaps
one of the MS MVPs can advise.
"

But will this affect any of my users or data?
As you can see I am stumped by this on-going problem
