Mark -

I would strongly consider Good Technology. ActiveSync is ok but it is not
efficent and there is no means to gurantee a message is sent/received.
Actrivesync also sends the full email regardless of size - so if it has an
8mb attachment, it will send the 8mb attachment to the device before any
other email is sent. Plus I don't believe it is multi-threading. Good and
Blackberry use NOCs and have a acknowledgement architecture. Plus both are
secure.

Blackberry touts they have over the air setup -- but it is all smoke and
mirrors. You BB must already have 4.0 on it and even then you can only
activate. With BB you will still need the desktop software. Out of the box
it won't sink all your personal mailboxes, you still need to sync on the
desktop. BB only works on BB Devices - No BB Connect devices are shipping in
the US.

Good offers true over the air setup of GoodLink and third party
applications. Your folders are sync'd out of the box, plus they sync notes,
contacts, full calander. Plus they support more devices.

Regarding what PDA - Audiovox 6600 is the bomb!
