I too am having problems using IE6 and FTP. Other ftp clients work fine. I
believe that it is something to do with Passive and Active FTP modes and the
use of random port numbers in passive mode, which firewalls tend to block.
However, have tried changing settings in Internet Explorer -
Tools-Options-Advanced - "Enable Folder View for FTP sites" without success.
It is as if IE6 is stuck in passive mode.
