Thanks for the reply!

Modem is on the HCL (3Com/USR), and I've done the whole uninstall/reinstall
thing (twice!) but haven't seen or tried the hotfix. Workstation already
set to look to SBS for WINS resolution. I'll try the fix and get back to
you.
