Thanks for the reply Mal. Basically I read these articles already and
it is not as clear as i need them to be.
I never done this before so I don't even know if what I am trying to do
is appropriate. i basically want to use an SMTP Relay server for all
emails coming in, and I want to use a SmartHost configuration because
when users sends emails to AOL, Yahoo, HotMail or any other domain, it
takes a very long time before it actually gets there and\or it doesn't
get delivered. So our ISP suggested using their SMTP Relay server as a
SmartHost. Now do I put this on the FE server or the BE server?
I just never done this before so I would not even know how to
accomplish this.
I do know for the most part that any Incoming email I want it to come
to my FE server first then routed to my BE server. On outgoing emails,
I would like to use the SmartHost that my ISP gave me, but I do not
know where to comfigure this. Either in the
RoutingGroup->SMTP->Connector or Server->Protocol->SMTP->Virtual server
Am I even doing this the preferred way?
Thank you in advance!!!
