Hi Matthew,
Thank you for your post.
>From the description, I understand that you encounter a problem in OWA when
opening the email body in a new window. If I am off base, please let me
know.
Regarding on this issue, I suggest you follow the steps below:.
A. Please apply KB831464 hotfix:
831464 FIX: IIS 6.0 compression corruption causes access violations
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=831464
B. To delete the cached files on the server, follow these steps:
1. Open the IIS Temporary Compressed Files folder. The default path is
%windows%\IIS Temporary Compressed Files.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. At a command prompt, enter "IISReset" (without the quotation marks)
4. Restart all IIS services.
C. You may also have to delete the cached files on the client to make
sure that the corrupted files from the cache are not used. To do this,
follow these steps:
1. In Internet Explorer, click "Internet Options" on the "Tools" menu.
2. Click the "General" tab, and then click "Delete Files".
3. Click "OK".
I appreciate your taking the time to gather information; if you have any
questions please feel free and let me know.
Have a nice day!
