Hi Adrian,
Thanks for posting here!
>From the description, I understand that you run into a problem with your
Companyweb site after restoring the SBS 2003 and you cannot uninstall the
sharepoint service. If I'm off base, please do let me know.
Firstly, run the "Change User Permissions" wizard and apply one of the user
templates to existing user accounts. That should restore your Sharepoint
access as well as other default user/group permissions. To do so:
1. Open up the ''Server Management'' console '' ''Standard Management'' ''
''Users'', and then run ''Change User Permissions'' in the right pane.
2. Click ''Next'', select ''User Template'' with the option ''Replace any
previous permissions grated to the users'' enabled and click ''Next'',
''Add'' desired users and click ''Next'', and then click ''Finish'' to
start the User Permissions resetting.
If the issue has not been solved, please perform the following action plan
to reinstall the sharepoint service. This problem may occur if the registry
contains incorrect information or the registry key corrupted.
1. Download, install, and then run the Windows Installer CleanUp utility to
remove the Windows Installer registry settings associated with Sharepoint.
The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download
