Trend CSM install, console error

Basically, I installed w/o using Les's guide. SSL and the suggested port
defaults seemed fine at the time. I ran into the "The page cannot be
displayed" in IE & "The process cannot access the file because it is
being used by another process" error box in IIS. Changed the port on the
site, and it starts, but still no gumballs. After searching the Trend
site I searched here and saw many referencing Les's guide.
My question now is, is there a way to fix this w/o uninstalling-then
reinstalling? Configuring certs on SBS, turning off Trend's SSL config,
editing some config file or registry entry, getting SSL login to work
long enough to get to the console and turn off OfficeScan's requirement
of it- something?

thanks for listening,
Don
