I run almost the exact same configuraation. My experience is that you
probably have DHCP running on the access point causing a conflict with DHCP
on the SBS (maybe even a different network). Just disable DHCP on the AP and
use it as a bridge versus a router (I.e. don't use the WAN connction, simply
plug the server in as you would any other network device). The SBS should
then service the laptop with DHCP and all "should" :) be well.
