Chris,
That's one of the first things i tried. On the XP client i did a ipconfig
/all and checked the MAC adresses. Then i tried to add a ip reservation on
the MAC address of the local nic. and VPN connection. No luck with that on
and still getting random ip adresses from the SBS server.
But it seems i have a solution for my problem.
1. Excluding some ip adresses in the DHCP pool (192.168.16.100 /
192.168.16.110)
2. In AD. User -> Properties -> Dail-in -> Assigin a static ip adress ->
192.168.16.100
3. Login with the XP client to the SBS server and that seems to do the trick.
Anyone having a second opion for my workaround?
Kind Regards
Jeff.
