No, it's just trying to clarify your setup .. it's not quite clear if
your issue is from the inside or the outside... you say that people
can't send to you ...but then it sounds like you are testing out Outlook
connectiviy?

I think you are talking two different things here...

The server only need port 25 to send/receive email in a SMTP setup.

The workstation needs file and printer sharing enable to connect to Outlook.

Server's inside NIC does need netbios

It's WINS that we can shut off... we're still in a Netbios world in SBSland.

We're just trying to help ... that's what we do around here...to help
clarify what you are doing.
