Bill,
Thanks for the info. I'm using the SBS Server Management add user function
to add a new user, and selecting the new template that I created using the
same interface tool. It runs through the steps to set up the profile for the
template in much the same way a user is created, leading me to believe the
settings in the Template would be propagated to the user account created
under it, hence the name "Template". I understand the logic behind the
password, but I think the mapping to the user directory, login script and PCs
allowed to log into are vallid settings for a template to propagate, as
controlling those attributes would be a standard for creating user accounts
and access. Is there another way to change all these settings via group
assignment or Group Policy? (As in "one step for many accounts"?) Thank yoU!
Bob
