another interactive logon problem

Running SBS2003, 1 server running windows, exchange, IIS, file and print,
etc., 5 workstations (Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional). System has
been up and running for approx 3 months.
Yesterday I started getting the "Local policy of this system does not permit
you to logon interactively" message. I am not trying to use terminal server
(although it is installed, and remote connection enabled - just haven't
gotten around to playing with it) or use remote desktop - just logon to the
network to work at my workstation. Administrator can logon, and I can take
any user account, apply the administrator template, and logon and work
normally (I obviously realize that that is not a viable solution).
The day before, I was browsing the various policy areas, trying to learn
more about them. Made 2 changes (I really do think that's all): to password
length and account lockout policies (had never noticed that the default is 50
attempts before lockout). While it makes no sense to me, I'm assuming that I
changed something to cause this, but can't figure out what.
Any ideas as to where to look would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
ac
