Hi Raymond,
I believe that SPF involves adding a simple text record to your DNS records
that tells everyone which servers are allowed to send out email for your
domain. When a mailserver that is configured to use SPF receives an email,
it checks the SPF record for the sending domain to determine whether or not
the email came from an authorised mail server. If not, the email is
rejected.
I believe that AOL and Hotmail are using this system. You need to speak to
your ISP about this but unfortunately, not all ISP's support these SPF
amendments to DNS.
Kind regards,
Wes
