Hi
We are attempting to upgrade Sharepoint from WMSDE to SQL Server on our
SBS2003
We already have SQL Server installed on our server prior to this upgrade, I
have run the SQL Server setup program from the SBS CD and chosen to upgrade
the Sharepoint database - but it halts at the stage 'Setup is Preparing to
Copy Files'. I have to kill the process using task manager.
In case it is connected: Initially we had the problem that the server
repeatedly returned the error:
"A previous program installation created pending file operations on the
installation machine. You must restart the computer before running setup. "
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312995 We deleted the approprate registry
key to solve this problem.
Any advice with this issue would be great
Thanks Ben
