I use Windows 2003 on a notebook and use the notebook as a desktop. Both
Spybot destroyer and adaware run on the W2K3 box with no issues.
Will load SBS 2003 soon on another box and also spybot and adaware to see of
they work ok.
Use server OS'es all of time as workstations since I am just studing for
another MCSE. In a real (perfect) environment they should not be necessary,
but I have never lived, only dreamed, of all my clients having a real
(perfect) environment.
Only thing I could not get to work on a W2K3 server was a screensaver theme
from MS. All aspects of the theme worked except screen saver which just
blanked screen.
Good luck, and try Adaware, along with locking down the system. Think you
will like SP1 too when it is ready.
