I have also confirmed that the server is not registering the mac address of
the router in the arp table. The invalid address is 00-00-00-00-00-00 even
though the router is reporting a mac address in its GUI.
Finally, I am showing some packets being received and transmitted on my
external NIC in the neighborhood of a couple every second.
