Hey Bryon -
Take a look at Les' installation steps on Kevin's blog:
How to install Trend C/S/M for SMB:
http://msmvps.com/kwsupport/archive/2004/03/23/4153.aspx
Also, be sure to exclude the c:\windows\system32\lls directory and
c:\windows\system32\licstr.cpa file. These are associated with SBS
Licensing and there is a known issue where scanning these can result in CALs
disappearing . . .
As for the Anti-Spam, our normal procedure is to turn on Recipient
Notifications initially, so users get a message whenever Trend blocks a spam
message. This lets us identify false positives and either add the sender or
domain to the approved senders list. Usually after 4 - 6 weeks we've got it
tweaked enough were we can just turn off the recipient notifications and let
it block whatever it wants :^) Oh - and speaking of the approved senders
list - hotmail.com is in the approved list by default - and I normally
remove it.
