A few clients do not have current backups of what are now their former Outlook offline store (*.ost) files. Their old profile information and settings still exist on the local machines, but they are all using new profiles and new ost files. In other words, their ost files are useless.

However, I still have the server files from the previous installation on backup. FYI, the new server has the exact same name, the exact same domain name, and the same user accounts as the previous server where the backups were made.

Replacing the existing mailstore with the former files would be acceptable, though merging the old store with the new would be good too.

Any advice, suggestions, or links would be greatly appreciated.
