I liked HP until they merged with Compaq and their Support went in the
tank..
IBM is way too proprietary even in components that has no reason to be
proprietary. For example one of their rack mount units we have uses what
"appears" to be a Laptop CD Drive, however it only "looks" like one and is
not exactly the same thing. The server will not use any "burners" at all
(CD or DVD),... unless they are external and connect by USB.
So, for now, I hold Dell "on top".
Sometimes I would rather just buy an empty rack mount metal case and build
my own.
