SBS 2003 TEL/FAX MODEM

I am looking to install a modem in my dell sc400 server running sbs 2003 and
I am running ito dead ends on what to get and where to get it.

I thought a simple 56k PCI Internal fax modem, v90 from compusa would work.
I was wrong it was not supported by sbs 2003.

The main reason for this is I hope to set up a fax server. I have this
server at my home office with four desk top clients signing on from time to
time by VPN at a field office with no phone service. If I receive faxes at
my home office I would like to get them at the field office and my laptop
whenever the come in via VPN mor the company web site.

So how can this be done and with what modem. Cost is an issue.
