One thing to always check, was the backup successful or not......I have heard
of people just changing the tape on a regular basis, but never checking to
see if all the files were backup'd.

Dont care much for USB drives though, or Firewire, have heard of them
getting disconnected improperly and all data being lost.... Best to go
internal

I actually back up my SQL to a seperate computer once a week, and the
primary database gets backed up every Friday. And I am using Backup Exec for
SBS, had too many problems with NT backup and a Travan Backup drive
