How do I rename a computer in SBS2003?

We are currently running SBS2003 with Windows XP clients. Each computer is
named for the user to make it easier to track and for Remote Access. I've
switched users on a machine and need an easy way to rename the computer
(migrating a user profile would be a bonus). I've tried using the System
under Control Panel, KB article 298593 which uses XP tools and nothing seems
to work. Please help - and Microsoft please add this feature to Systems
Management. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
