not able to give local admistrative rights

Hi

I have windows 2003 sbs server ,configured as my domain.Domain is configured
correctly my client machines are also geeting connected to my domain .But
when i am trying to give local administrative rights to domain user , i am
not able to give local administrative rights.(on windows xp prof client
machine i tried to give local administrative rights, but i cant browse domain
users only local user can be viewed ).Is there any way out .
