there are two main reasons not to do this, IMHO.

The first and foremost is security, port 80 is always in the top 10 attack
list. Do you want your DC to be compromised?
The other is cost, the cost of maintaining a web server. You can get hosting
for a few dollars a month.

OK, I host my site (supergumby.dyndns.org) on SBS2000. Even though I
subscribe to various bulletin services I send my LoungeAN server to Windows
Update every couple of days. After this I run HFNETCHK against her.
Seriously, every couple of days. I also copy my ISA logs daily to a
directory for analysis. If I have to restart the system due to an update
there' one user, me, who needs to log off their ws.

There are other considerations.
By hosting your website on your internet connection, traffic on the site
will impact performance of your internet connection, and vice versa.

I'm sure others can throw more at this.
