John, your questions are exactly the kind that are asked on first install.
This is why we urge those in your situation to do what you are doing: ask
the questions that you have. But, take good notes of what you do, and how
you answer every question. Because once you have SBS installed, we then
would strongly encourage you to wipe it all out and reinstall a second time,
reviewing all your notes, and making sure of things. Finally, if time
permits - and I would argue that you only have the time once, and this is
it - to reinstall your server one more time, to both build up your comfort
level with the SBS install, and to ensure that all your notes are good.
