**** Replaced by download link *** You can contact PSS to ask for the
Windows Server 2003 version of the 842933 hot fix so that you can edit the
group policy settings on the
server. We can also configure the server side group policy settings on a
Windows XP SP2 computer using the following steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type "mmc" (without the quotation marks), and
then click OK.

2. On the File menu, click "Add/Remove Snap-in".

3. In the "Add/Remove Snap-in" dialog box, click Add.

4. In the "Add Standalone Snap-in" dialog box, click Group Policy, and then
click Add.

5. In the Select Group Policy Object dialog box, Local Computer appears as
the target object. Click Browse, select the Small Business Server
Client Computer GPO, and then click OK.

6. Click Close.

7. Click OK.

8. Go to Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Network/Network
Connections/Windows Firewall and you can configure Program
Exceptions.

9. When the client computers restarts the settings will be applied. You can
ask the users to run the following command to get the policies applied
immediately:

gpupdate /force
