For Office, you need to manually visit Office Update to get patches, service
packs, etc. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx.
SUS and WU won't patch the Office apps.
The next version, Windows Update Services, will patch Office. I'm not sure
of the anticipated release date, but you can find details at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/sus/wusbeta.mspx.
