Maybe.
Free space also can make a big performace differance. If you had 100G of
data, on the 108Gb array, performance would be waaaay slower than 100G on a
146Gb array. NTFS fragments & starts storing data in the MFT when space is
limited, & slows down big time. I always try to keep 20% free on any
server.
